The vision of the JMG and the 2020 Taupo-nui-a-Tia project is:

The community values are achieved or maintained through the completion of the actions in the 2020 TAP.

So, how are we doing on the actions?

Nearly 70 percent of the actions are in different stages of implementation. Good progress is being made in a number of areas, including:

  • Significant funding allocated to the Clean Streams programme to help protect water quality and riparian margins in the catchment

Raising awareness of the impact of boat sewage on water quality
