Consents

This database includes information about 25 resource consents that require significant monitoring as part of their consent conditions. These consents comprise less than 10% of the over 250 currently active resource consents issued by Environment Waikato in the Lake Taupo catchment. They were selected based on their relevance to the 2020 community values and the extent of monitoring and information gathering required by the consent holder.

The resource consent database provides details such as the name of consent holder; type of consent; its purpose; expiry date; and authorisation number (a unique identifier for each consent for easy reference, e.g. when making inquiries).

Selected consent conditions that identify what sort of monitoring and information gathering is required are also provided.
This information helps to identify the type and extent of monitoring undertaken by consent holders when preparing a co-ordinated and fully integrated monitoring plan for Taupo.

The location and type of all current resource consents issued by EW in Taupo can be viewed on the 2020 project website: http://www.taupoinfo.org.nz/maps.asp

The project team will gradually expand the available information. If you are aware of any monitoring carried out as part of a resource consent, we would like to hear from you. Please Contact Us.
