| Condition Description: |
The consent holder shall determine the quality, quantity and variability of the treated wastewater discharged into the ground or irrigated onto land. To this end the consent holder shall undertake the following sampling to the satisfaction of Waikato Regional Council:(i) Determine the total-nitrogen, nitrate-nitrogen, ammoniacal-nitrogen, total phosphorus, dissolved reactive phosphorus, five-day biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) concentrations and enterococci bacteria numbers at three monthly intervals (i.e. four times) throughout the year (see note 1).(ii) The sampling point shall be at the outlet of the second treatment pond.1 All water quality sample analyses required shall be undertaken using standard methods as detailed in the "Standard Methods For The Examination Of Water And Waste Water, 1995" 19th edition by A.P.H.A. and A.W.W.A. and W.E.F. and any subsequent updates. |
