Environmental Monitoring

This database includes monitoring activities that are undertaken as part of long term, regular monitoring programmes, mainly by Environment Waikato (EW) and the Department of Conservation (DoC).

The searchable environmental monitoring database includes details about the purpose of monitoring; the responsible agency and key contact person(s); links to some relevant documents and monitoring results; and makes reference to any relevant 2020 community values.

This information helps to identify future monitoring needs and suitable indicators for tracking progress with the implementation of the 2020 Action Plan.

The project team will gradually expand the available information. If you are undertaking any monitoring in Lake Taupo or its surrounding area that is not included here or new, we would like to hear from you. Please Contact Us.
