| Objective: |
To identify management options for the control of Egeria densa and evaluate their feasibility and cost. |
| Rationale: |
Review existing control options and make recommendations for ongoing management. NIWA report completed 2002. Control options very limited.
A Working Group (Chair Laurie Burdett) has considered the report's recommendations. No feasible control options of Egeria densa are currently available. Surveyllance and public education programmes will continue.
A re-survey of Egeria densa is planned for the summer 2003/04. |
